Do you purchase sheets based on thread count alone?

 If so, then you should read the post over at the Design File. They have a great post about thread counts, ply & more on sheets. Most people seem to have the misconception that the higher the thread count, the better the sheets. Thread count is important but is not what your decision should solely be based on. There are other factors to consider such as content, which refers to the the type of cotton the sheets are made out of, and weave such as sateen or percale. Hopefully this information will help you in your search for great quality, comfortable sheets!
